Hello!
What a coincidence! I’ve seen the Hen House before and have lived in Lafayette for 12 years, but never come on this website. When I finally do, I see something familiar! That last crown you have listed (purple gem stone on top) is regalia from Job’s Daughters International. Vintage, in fact. We use a newer version of that crown now, but it’s still cool to see Bethels (like a Chapter or Troop) using them because they’re so rare. Where did you find that one?
contessa says
I have had that for awhile now………me thinks I found at an antique show. Thanks for stopping by.
Linda Q says
The last one is indeed a vintage (1960’s through 80’s) International Order of Job’s Daughters (IOJD) Sr. Princess regalia crown. I am a Past Honored Queen and wore this in 1978. IOJD is now called Job’s daughter’s International. A masonic youth group based on the biblical book of Job. American, not French.
Your collection is wondrous and full of delight and fantasy.

WOW, love tiara’s ~ a huge one over my bed with beautiful hanging fabric would be sublime, I found one at Horchow then it was gone, another lesson when we feel it in our gut, “get it”…..laughing ! XO

The crown with the five stars looks at though it is probably from the Order of the Eastern Star. So beautiful.
Valkiria says
What a beautiful collection! I am in love! Each one more beautiful than the other
Amy Philpott says
The 5 STAR Crown is from the Order of the Eastern Star. The one you are claiming French is actually from the International Order of Job’s Daughters and is a super rare find as they have had 3 crown transitions since this piece. Beautiful!
