I would like to introduce LITTLE CONTESSA in TRAINING, this is a title she gave herself and of course I loved it!We had the pleasure of having her stay with us one summer to learn English.
Her father was my husbands Best Man at our wedding 27 years ago!I adored her company and her love of life!She likes to bake to relax!She loves AUDREY Hepburn and had always dreamed of receiving a little blue box!She adored Creme Carmel and enjoyed making it and lighting it on fire!She likes vintage and red lipstick!She adores books………….she speaks ITALIAN and her English is very good.She lived in Paris for a year and went to school there without knowing FRENCH!She had an apartment in a HAUSSMAN building and her room had a fireplace.She has a gorgeous way about her………….here is a glimpse ….. can you see what Iam talking about??It was a JOY to reconnect and visit with the LITTLE CONTESSA in TRAINING!By my standards she is almost there!Not much left to learn………….FRANCESCA your CONTESSA TITLE is within reach………YOU WILL BE THE REAL DEAL!!!!ADORE YOU.Do you remember the Bandeau’s at the Cartier exhibit!!WE MUST FIND YOU ONE!Contesssa grande is on the search!XOXO

She has more energy then me!She is studying in Venice but could be coming to the USA very soon to keep studying!Closer to her parents who were transferred here for a few years then they will go back to Italy.She has TONS of PASSION……………….for everything!

I am so glad you came to Venice, Contessa, it made me look at it with new eyes, and appreciate it fully. The feeling hasn’t gone away yet – since your visit I walk around Venice daydreaming all the time, and wondering how lucky I am. Your enthusiasm is contagious! I miss you tons already.

Shall we tell our readers that you weren’t able to meet me the first night because you were in an opera?But who do I find waiting for the vaporetto, trying to find my way da solo??Readers I had successfully taken the bus from the Venice airport to the island, but then I had to catch a boat to my exit.I was not having any luck with that and after the third stop asking directions I turn and who is sitting there with her head down scribbling on a piece of paper??It took me about 30 seconds to figure it out as it had been many years and she had grown up a bit but I had a feeling and I screamed, FRANCESCA??She slowly raised her head as she was in another world with this piece of paper and as our eyes met we both just stared.Not believing our eyes…………That had to be one of those life time moments one will never forget!She gave me a quick hug pointed which way to my vaporetto and turned because hers was there and she had to go!!!!
