Elizabeth, this is really wonderful. Texas has many venues in our Hill Country that do this type of event. They are all hugely successful. I once thought about buying all the furniture, etc. and renting them out for weddings. It was a whimsy, of course. FiFi always makes things come true, doesn’t she? xx’s

Do you really have a bunny? Harry? We had a bunny named Moxie for several years. I guess we are both animal lovers too! I have literally been unplugged for a couple of weeks and am just now catching up with the blog world. It was a much needed break.
I hope your holidays were wonderful. I love Fifi’s gorgeous hair and it is obvious she has such beautiful style. If I could go back in time I would definitely have a Prairie wedding, the pictures are gorgeous! I love following your blog – your posts are always so unique and so interesting.

I understand the BREAK…….I do not blog like the rest of YOU but I too needed to walk away from it for the HOLIDAY season.
I did have a bunny named HARRY!And yes, FIFI has GORGEOUS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!

I am late in coming, but I am enjoying this SO MUCH! I do love the idea that with today’s outrageously priced events, an approach to wedding planning using recycled/vintage/antique and “natural” elements is such a smart but very beautiful look. I love Fifi’s style and I LOVE the horse in this! (I adore them…)

How are you sweet friend? It is super cold out here, but we’ll make it as January brings it’s annual thaw, and we slide (safely) into spring in three months!

My sister attended two such weddings this past summer outside Portland OR. ……She loved both and described them to me in detail , both sounded absolutely gorgeous ! Glad to see these type of weddings are making a comeback !

We went to a wedding in Italy which was with an Australian ( my god daughter) with an Italian and it was the most magical relaxed wedding held outside. The ceremony, which was completely different to how weddings are held in Italy, was with the bride and groom standing overlooking the borrowed landscape of the Bergamo hills on a very small sloped grass area with all the guests either seated on big cushions on pallet racking or standing and country flowers in jam jars everywhere. The bride really fought hard to have a wedding like in Fifi’s book as no one in Italy understood! Maybe Fifi’s book should be available in Italy!! Glad to hear 2015 is going to be a good year!! xo

HARRY, has since pASSED to BUNNY HEAVEN…………..that photo was taken a few years ago of FIFI and HARRY.YES, I had two Bunnies at the time…….WILLIAM & HARRY!!!
I have had rabbits through out my LIFE……….as a child to an adult then we landed on this street and a flood came and long story short we ended up with STREET BUNNIES for YEARS!THAT would come when I called and I fed………….CARMAL,the AMAZING MAMA kept having babies……in my garden in my garage!IT was a BEAUTIFUL sight…….and yes they did a bit of damage in the garden but you know what IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT!I have a neighbor now who does not speak to me because i fed the wild bunnies and they ate his ALYSSUM he had planted a 6-pack that was waiting to be EATEN!I thought ,”WOW” here you have grandchildren that would be SO thrilled to see the bunnies in your garden more than the ALYSSUM enjoy it!Will not last forever!Which it did not as a coyote wiped them out or so we think!

The detail in the photographs you featured alone is fantastic , the settings could almost take away from the bride !I love the long table with the rugs in front of it particulary and I could see myself in the tuille wedding dress, The horse with the daisy chain also a must have. Did you notice Harry’s silver coat compliments Fifis hair so beautifully – of course you would of.
