Well, thats an easy one for ME………..MY BOOT!!!!!
Heather at the Gorgeous BLOG LOST IN ARLES suggested a HERMES SCARF tied to camouflage it’s ugliness.A HIGH profile GUY who has a lot to do with FASHION was seen exiting a TAXI in NEW YORK with his BOOT covered in one!SO, I may need to copy and be a FASHIONISTA!
Or as my dear friend from EXERCISE advised me………A RIBBON CONTESSA a BEAUTIFUL SILK RIBBON!
I have come down with TENDONITIS and they say it is from OVER USE…………….
Honestly, I do not know how that can be!
I doNOT walk for exercise…….
I doNOT run for anyone or anyplace…………
I do SIT a LOT and Read your COMMENTS…………
Otherwise, I do what I need to do and raise my legs in the evening after MY LONG DAY!SO, how on earth can I have TENDONITIS??
Perhaps my 55 years of EXSISTING?
THEY want me in a BOOT for SIX WEEKS…………..
I have obliged them and done………three so far…………HALF WAY there.
THAT IS WHAT I WILL NOT BE LEAVING THE HOUSE WITHOUT THIS FALL.
THE BOOT………..but I promise you I will have GOBBS of pearls, a ribbon or a scarf tied. A NECK PIECE worthy of my neck!Perhaps,a TASSEL also attached to my BODY in some form or another!!!!I willNOT LEAVE HOME withOUT being ACCESSORIZED!
The MAKE OVER…….did you SPY me on DAILY PLATE OF CRAZY?I was invited to have my make-up done the kicker was I would have to show my face before with NO MAKE-UP!If you HAVE to see that GO HERE!!!!

A Vintage Rhinestone Tie for This CONTESSA could ADD WHIMSY to the BOOT!But then I would NEED a SOIREE to attend…………..
But I think my Favorite would be the JOHNNY WAS scarf tied just SO with the tassels strutting ; will do the trick.Especially if it becomes chilly…………..

Well, tendonitis just sucks and wearing that boot must take some patience – especially when you love pretty things. But glad to see that you’ve found a way of making it look fabulous. Other than the boot, you are looking really good. I just love your smile.

Who in the world would ever find time to stop looking at your face, hat, pearls, necklaces, aprons, etc. to ever have time to look at your boot. I think the main thing is to have brightly painted toes peaking out. Love your photos for your make over. You are stunning, boot, no boot or barefoot!

But you canNOT see because of the nylon support stocking I am wearing, because if I do not wear a stocking I get sores all over my foot and leg from the BOOT!I really DONOT know which is worse the sores or the TENDONITIS!!!

Thanks Heather. I’m reply to La Contessa here because I don’t seem to be able to reply under her response. Yes, you may wear dark burgandy. You may wear any color you wish. But the sores. Now that bothers me. Have you told the doctor? The boot is not fitting correctly. I remember having to go to the docotr and have a new cast made because it was too tight. Even though I told the technitian it was too tight when he was wrapping me up. So get thee to the doctor and have them adjust that boot madame!

You are the CUTEST thing EVAH!!! Love the gorgeous scarf on the boot. I’ve had a pain in my foot (surprised it’s not in my rear end because, I confess that I am a career SITTER as well). I self diagnosed it thanks to Web MD as tendonitis. Haven’t gone to a doc though, only because I am so smart. Hope you are BOOTLESS soon.

Well how annoying for your foot/leg to be stuck in that boot and thank goodness you are going into colder weather so it won’t be so hot…..but you do make that boot look far more pretty than I have ever spied and having worn one myself for 6 weeks I didn’t have your imagination to accessorize it. I read the blog on your make up day and love how they did your eyes – your hair looks fab too by the way!! So happy to be in Spring with all the blossoms coming out and the days getting longer – even the birds sound chirpier! Wishing you a speedy recovery and boot free soon. x

oh I hate that boot! love that you are approaching it with your usual good sense of humor and style! Please be careful with it, though! My chiropractor hates those things…they tend to make your hips go wonky, and can cause more long term problems then fix the short term ones (in his esteemed opinion….). Be careful!
