A FEW of MY BELOVED VALENTINES……………my new flock of CHICKS.

MY touch of LEOPARD finally as I felt I was the only person NOT to have a LEOPARD pillow!Theo seems to agree it’s a good fit.

Theodore on the kitchen table looking as if HE has something to say?

Then again maybe NOT………..this RAY of SUNSHINE is most welcome.I think HE has the BODY covered in LIGHT!

MY little GRAND PIG who isNOT SO little anymore………..He DOES KNOW HOW TO SIT ON COMMAND.

Once HE sits a REWARD is offered……………..

THE GOOSE…………..the GENTLE GIANT is the BEST way to describe this GRAND DOG!

Television time…………..Goose looking at ME and I am holding his PAW.Nollie looking at THE ITALIAN NONNO……….thinking maybe I’m better off OVER THERE!

The NEW DOG BED that was really aquired for the PIGGY………….They ALL got to try it out first!

He LOVES IT……………as you can see here.

MY BOY SIR WINSTON………….had FIRST GO at the NEW BED.

Theodore, looking VERY REGAL in the EDWARDIAN CHAIR at the end of the kitchen table.

The SLIPPER THIEVES…………made it from my bedroom to the kitchen! Then EXHAUSTION took over!
Their turn for the BED TRIALS……………….I think I BEST get them one of their own.
This bed was made by BEST FRIENDS by Sheri.

Wow, there is a lot of animal love in your home! The only (temporary) “pet” we ever had: In 1999 we babysat for the (healthy) classroom guinea pig one weekend, and it died the day after we brought it back to school. I took that as a sign…
contessa says
GO GET A PET!
THEY ARE WONDERFUL…………..and you did not kill the GUIENA PIG!
I had a GUIENA PIG when I was young…..named JILLSON!
CATS ARE easier then dogs……………as you can leave them on their own for a day or two!
GO GO TO THE POUND………….YOU will know…….. one will make eye contact!
Penelope Bianchi says
LISTEN TO LA CONTESSA! YOU CAN SEE THE JOY PETS BRING!! DO NOT LET THAT GUINEA PIG LIMIT YOUR LIFE!!!! RESCUE! YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE JOY AND GRATEFUL LOVE YOU WILL RECEIVE!!!

What a fun house you have, such lovely darling creatures in it. I have to say your cat is very handsome indeed, an unusually attractive specimen. He looks like a king.
Love love your grandpig, I bet you knew that pigs are the fourth smartest creatures on the planet. They are very emotional apparently, would you say that’s true? I saw a pig once, interaction lasted all of a minute but I haven’t eaten any pork since, such character just shone out of him.

Such a “sweet” bunch to help you share Valentine’s Day. <3 Their individual personalities really come through the photos. Thanks for sharing these darling furry and feathered friends with your cyber-friends. <3
Have you thought about where the sweet peas are going to go?
contessa says
The SWEET PEAS Need to go in the FRONT YARD…………I need to plant them NOW!
SO sweet of HER to think of me!I hope they GROW!!!The fragrance can waft in through the front door!XX
Ms. Mary says
I try to give the little pea sprouts something to hold onto. String, wire, poles, netting all work well. One thing I know for sure- plant them where you want them to stay- they DO NOT like to be transplanted. If you take pictures of the process, and if they bloom nicely, maybe you can make them the subject of a blog post this fall? <3
Lisa says

Doré @ Burlap Luxe says
Oh Elizabeth dear, you take the cake here, way more fur grand then I could be, I have trouble with just tending to one ITALIAN GreyHound here, as Hannah wants to add one to befriend our sweet Pia.
As for your chickens so have wanted to build a coop and tend to chickens, but after Hannah my daughter had to rescue one and toss it from the highway to the otherwise of the fence she just was so frightened by their not so soft feathers…. Crunchy feathers is how she describes them. And I am not sure I could get her to help time to time with tending to them 🙁
Love your French zinc out-building shelter for them? Visiting you is like a reality show, you show the real side of life and tending to it humorously!
Love yah dear,
Happy Valentines to you and your Italian as well, as yours and the grands.

Contessa thank you for having as many animals inside as I do! My husband thought we were the only ones! Plus he said no to chickens because he thought we had enough! Well sister we DON’T have a grand pig! Maybe I can at least get chickens! Fingers crossed 😉
