WE TOOK A FEW SELFIE’s!
WE escaped for a few days………..a trip MY ITALIAN planned ALL BY HIMSELF!
Well, he did have some HELP from his GOOD friend GIOVANNI in ITALY.As Giovanni lived in COSTA RICA a few years ago.So, he had RECOMMENDATIONS!!!!!!!
Millie GRAZIE GIOVANNI!!!!!!!!I canNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH.
Let me start by saying we had an ANNIVERSARY on the horizon and it was a BIG ONE.
I hinted one night during a television show we should GO AWAY!
HE LISTENED!
You see WE have NEVER BEEN on a vacation in a hotel without our SONS since our HONEYMOON!
That was 30 years ago!
My ITALIAN he loves to WORK…………(Rare for an ITALIAN!)
HE DOES NOT TAKE TIME OFF………..(MUCHO RARE for an ITALIAN times three!!!!)
Reasons, I do not need to explain here but lets just say HE is ALWAYS doing the RIGHT thing.
Instead He sends me to EUROPE or SAN DIEGO wherever I NEED TO GO!
I NEED to re-fuel MY SOUL………….Do you ever feel that way?
The NEED to get out of DODGE and explore and SEE THE BEAUTY?
I DO.
But this TIME HE went with ME!
For 10 days to COSTA RICA!

The trip started in SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA.We flew in late at night and stayed at the HILTON GARDEN INN which was directly across the street from this STADIUM.Guess who built this STADIUM?
THE CHINESE…………it was a GIFT to the city. They even sent the workers from CHINA to build it.
Took ONE YEAR to build.
Apologizes for the TOWEL LOOK!
I had TO SHOW THE STADIUM and this was the ONLY PHOTO!

On the TOUR was the old THEATER……..built in the 1800’s.
These statues and there were a few; use to ADORN the roof top……..but now they have copies and the originals are SAFE inside. They even had a CAFE inside the THEATER.
MY PANTS are from CHICO’S if you were EYEING them!

AT The MARKET downtown SAN JOSE.Again built in the late 1800’s………..has ONLY been closed for ONE DAY in all that time.
The reason….. to put in electricity! It reminded me SO much of the MARKET in FLORENCE, ITALY!
Here I stand by the HERB shop. They have herbs for ABORTIONS as well as VICK’s VAPOR RUB!
I PASSED on the PURCHASE!

This fruit called GUANABANNA is a GREAT CURE for CANCER!
SO, said our TOUR GUIDE.
I think I will head to the BERKELEY BOWL and just SEE if we cannot BUY it HERE!Might as well start munching on it NOW!

DAY THREE……..destination ANTONIO MANUEL.
OH MY GOODNESS!
I have ARRIVED in PARADISE!
I DONOT WANT TO LEAVE!
THIS IS OUR ROOM with glass doors opening onto a balcony
A BALCONY with a VIEW!
THE DRINKS!
I LOVE LIMES.
ANYTHING with a LIME in it will DO for ME!
The POOL!
INFINITY AT THAT!
THAT in the distance is THE PACIFIC Ocean!

Views from the POOL.
Sunsets.
Little Guy.
A Walk .

Little Bird.

Can you make out the SLOTH under the word ROJA!
I was on my way to say HELLO!
(Sorry for the blurred photo!)
The ITALIAN relaxing.
The ITALIAN eating a RED SNAPPER.

The RAINFOREST WALK.
My nail polish matched THAT FLOWER!

DEER who areNOT AFRAID.
A SLOTH SLOTHING ABOUT!
They are SLOW creatures but do not want to be.
They POOP Once a week.
They come down out of the TREE and dig a hole then do their BUSINESS there then cover it back up!
So,
The predator will not find them.
They lose One FOURTH of their body weight.
They are ADORABLE!
Butterfly on MY PANTS!
Beach where TOM HANKS filmed CASTAWAYS!

A SWIM MOMENT and YES I had my SUIT ON
NOT THE BIRTHDAY ONE!

ALWAYS HAPPY at the BEACH.

There HE Goes……….

I did not want to leave this place……..
I hope YOU can understand WHY!

This is NICE my strapless BRA stands OUT
I still do not understand when I GOT SO BIG BREASTED.
I will TRY and DO better in the BRA DEPARTMENT!

This is how we dined……OUTSIDE with a view.
The entrance to this place had an OLD CIA AIRPLANE parked in FRONT that was the BAR!
I believe it landed there in the 1940’s.

TRAVELING to ARENAL.
A VOLCANO.
With HOT SPRINGS.

I have ALWAYS wanted a COW.

This view was better then watching TV.
The clouds moved so FAST that every time you looked away and back up there was something different to see.

Have YOU ever walked a COW?
ON the STREET!
With TRAFFIC!!!!!!

Diane
This was FOR YOU!
I cut off half of it!
Center piece on arrival to HOTEL for HOT SPRINGS!

Here SHE is the BATHING BEAUTY with an EMPTY GLASS!

TO give YOU an idea that HAT wasNOT for SUN it became MY RAIN HAT!
Yes, it was pouring at the HOT SPRINGS.
There were eight BATHS.
Each Bath was a different DEGREE.
We tried ALL eight BATHS.
IN the RAIN.

COW on a leash.
Here we GO!
Crossing the DOUBLE YELLOW LINE to PASS!
My ITALIAN’s FAVORITE PAST TIME!
Yes, JANE UNO That is a COW in the truck in front of us!

This a BAD PHOTO……..
But I wanted to SHOW you they make fencing out of TREES!
(Don’t LOOK HEATHER!)
LOADS of COWS
Who would be through that wire sometimes.
In fact, WE saw a BABY COW outside.
The ITALIAN doesNOT STOP for the MRS. to snap a PHOTO when HE Is driving from ONE place to ANOTHER!
One of HIS
FEW DEFECTS!
Banana Tree’s!
The BLUE plastic bags are covering them from BUGS!
I usually PROTECT his IDENTITY
But this is a RATHER GOOD SHOT of
THE ITALIAN!
Can YOU imagine if someone walked up to HIM and said
“IT’S YOU”
“THE ITALIAN”
I imagine that DAY may COME!
A SMALL ALLIGATOR
CALLED CAMEN.
Did I spell that RIGHT?
HOW I LOVED THIS!
Cows at the RIVER EDGE.
Who could paint this for ME!?
THAT spot of YELLOW & ORANGE!
Can YOU tell me what it is?
Hint
FLYING BEAUTIES!!!!!!
Can you SPY my FRIEND?
Let’s STOP here for today.
I have MORE to share but I think I have taken ENOUGH of your TIME for TODAY!

Definitly want to see more. Please. How many pounds was your luggage? Loved all the little critters you saw. You really were in the wilds. If there’s a small alligator isn’t there a large alligator not far behind? Did they have unusual drinks? How in the world did Giampy eat that fish? Did your hair get frizzy from all the rain? I would be a mess. More, more, more.

What a kind and thoughtful Italian you have. If you run across any spares I’d have one! They are Caymans and they are related to alligators. I’ve not been to CR, it looks amazing. I have traveled in the Yucatan and seen similar creatures, alligators, monkeys, iguanas, hordes of butterflies. They are harmless, as you say its the tiny ones who bite that are most annoying.
