As I was concerned it was the CREATIVE SIDE!

AND VISA VERSA.
From this NEWS I had ANOTHER MRI with contrast THAT MAKES TWO MRI’S……..IT SHOWED NOTHING WRONG!
The CAROTID ARTERIES ARE fine that test was done on FEBRUARY 19, 2017.I got THAT CONFIRMED today, because SO MANY have ASKED.
SO,because I still have terrible headaches and I had another EPISODE; NEUROLOGY has put me on DIVALPROEX 250 MG twice a day……..dosage to go up in a weeks time.
I STILL HAVE NO REAL ANSWERS and or A DIAGNOSIS as to what I have.
WE NOW WAIT AND SEE.
I called a HOMEOPATH.
HE LISTEN and wrote down notes in his note book………….
He has me taking PROPFUS and SEPIA in the future.
Wants me to write down how I am feeling daily………….
I LIKE HIM!
Next I went to see my CHIROPRACTOR about the VAGUS NERVE.
He checked mine and it seems OKAY!
He did work on some of the tension around my neck area.
I go back TODAY for another check.
He too thinks it is A~FIB.

Who am I? I am a lot of things. The only one that I want to be defined by is that of a mother. Anything past that is just fluff. I used to be a lot of things too. I used to be an interior designer. I used to have an antique store in Santa Barbara. I used to live in New York. I used to work at the fabulous chic Assouline Publishing in New York but I got fired because I wasn’t very friendly. I used to work at 1stdibs in New York. It was my favorite job that I’ve ever had but I only had it for two weeks because I got sick.
I used to be a perfectly healthy functioning woman with not a care in the world. Then, life changed. I don’t like to just throw it out there that I have ALS, a terminal disease. ALS does not define me but it has changed the way I look at things. Nothing and everything matters to me now. I know what is important and I know what is not important. My daughter, my husband, my friends, my cat and my dog matter.
Me keeping my sanity through all of this matters and in doing so I like to do this blog. I don’t have anything to prove, I don’t have anyone to impress and I have nothing to lose. Therefore this blog focuses on everything that I like… Art, architecture, culture, fashion, flowers, food, Paris, travel, interior design, houses, gardens, faith etc. Just for the fun of it I like to focus on everything that I don’t like as well. I feel like I can be totally honest with my opinions because I have no agenda. I imagine readers will appreciate that. So, I invite you to come along on this little journey with me. It will be fun. Hello Contessa, Do you know when you will have an update on your health? Seems like you have several doctor’s appointments coming up. I know we would ALL like to know. OMG, Elizabeth, I am just struck dumb !!!
I had no idea you were suffering so. One of my girlfriends told me, years ago, that I had a hovering of angel wings about me; so now I’m sending all of them to you, you will know when they arrive as the air will move no matter where you are. My daughter has suffered many maladies, all unknown origin, but one day she woke up and they were all GONE. GONE, I tell you !! We will say a prayer that this happens to you. I know there is a divine plan for you, mylady. One that is super important, so don’t worry, you will be FINE in the long term. Absolutely, don’t miss anything! Be true to yourself and be yourself! This is why you are here, to give everyone inspiration to be OURSELVES, even if we are timid. I have had the same feelings about parting with some of my precious possessions, simply because my adult kids don’t really covet them and because I have NO room. So unless a new PRINCE shows up & swoops me off, I must settle my mind and part with some of the treasures collected over a lifetime. Life changes just like it’s supposed to. NOW, take care of yourself! Sit quietly for half hour every single day, do absolutely nothing. Love all your babies & your family, but sit quietly. Maybe even lie down? The benefits of this will be seen and felt in only a few days. I love love love you and promise one day we will meet personally !! You are worth the journey !!!

I too miss Ellie. How wonderful to go through life with spunk, wit and know your priorities! Ellie was a beautiful, wonderful mother, friend, writer and more. I cannot believe it has been a year.
