Oh I’m so happy for you. I have a new respect for chiropractors. My husband is getting a more painful procedure on his knee, but the wonderful thing is that it’s working. The orthopedist just said ‘oh I can’t help you’, which had left his knee in terrible shape after a knee operation. Thank you for sharing with us as you always perk me up with your blog.???

I asked for the RAST FOOD ALLERGY TEST.AFTER canceling my appointment from their side they had THE ALLERGIST CALL ME!After a discussion of POSITIVE NEGATIVE STUFF which I have NO DESIRE to UNDERSTAND all I want done is a FOOD TEST!I thought I had succeeded in WINNING the battle……..AS THE LAB TOOK TWO BIG TEST TUBES OF MY NEGATIVE O BLOOD!Only to find out more than a week later he had me tested for YEAST ONLY!!!!
I NEARLY HIT THE ROOF AS THEY USE TO SAY HERE IN AMERICA!If my THEODORE didNOT need to be PICKED UP AT VETs after surgery I would have walked into CUSTOMER SERVICE LIKE A LOONEY PERSON SCREAMING!!!!!!!!
I was SO MAD.After dealing with this for FOUR YEARS why can’t I have a FOOD TEST!
Never mind the TOUCH test as it is called in ITALY they wouldn’t do AT ALL……….that test goes through DERMATOLOGY called TRUE here I believe.As a theory came up that I might be allergic to something in MY CASA!!!!!!!!!!SOAPS and or detergents!
THE PIG,DOG AND CAT ARE OUT OF THE QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful news. Our medical system has gotten so out of whack – Drs don’t seem to really care anymore and almost all our drugs have worse side effects than benefits.
Flower is a wonderful and the alignments can only be a good thing.

I continue to be shocked by how the medical establishment has failed you over and over again but am not at all surprised that some alternative approaches seem to be bringing real relief. On another note I am so disappointed that my beautiful painting workshop in Tuscany has been cancelled due to the virus. I also feel very badly for the economic losses that Italy and so many other places are facing in light of the outbreak.

I can add to the medical establishment boo boo’s.I wanted an allergy test for food called RAST.They did YEAST ONLY!
The test for chemicals like detergents and household cleaners the DOC said NO she did not see how that would benefit me!NOW that test is through DERMATOLOGY.
This week I do not have the ENERGY to go raise HELL maybe NEXT WEEK or NEVER……………………

Oh my – 4 yrs! Thank goodness you are getting some relief now. Fingers crossed for it to continue. One wonders about drs not pin pointing the cause/solution. The main thing is that they are not saying – it’s all in your head! The blog is so good as you have a community of followers who want you to get some relief and are offering some suggestions.
Decades ago after my first major car accident – yes I did have 4 of them. I had to see the dr from the auto insurance company = the company that fights your insurance claim. Anyway, after my session with him I went back for a follow up with my muscular skeletal specialist. I said to him I think that dr thinks there is NOTHING wrong with me. My specialist looked at me and said – you know you have a problem – your physiotherapist knows you have a problem – and I KNOW you have a problem. The problem with that dr is that he doesn’t know anything! Sure hope you get a dr that KNOWS something soon – puts things together. Tho they may learning a lot now from you re the relief you are getting from the new therapy sessions – tinctures etc.

I am so happy to read that you are feeling better! This is fabulous news, it is very hard to get good medical tests/help these days. I am a firm believer that many ailments we suffer from today are from food, we do not know what is in our food! Too many hormones, and other stuff being fed to animals. In the last 5 years I have had many issues with dairy and gluten. I do know that sugar is bad for you but I am not willing to give that up yet, I just consume it in moderation.
I love the photos!
I am thinking for your birthday perhaps you need to go on a grand tour of the country and have a 60th birthday party on the East coast, the West coast and several places in between!

Well for me ITS NOT FOOD that I can see…………….have been gluten free for 12 or 14 years NOW.NO DIARY AND NO YEAST for over 10 months.EPISODES were coming faster and MORE OFTEN during JANUARY and FEBRUARY.

I hear what YOUR saying but even before this food elimination I had eliminated the NIGHT SHADES for MONTHS.

Have decided I want my first CAFTAN. Crazy. New as a little girl in 1960’s, till now, CAFTANS for loony women. Taking a bow, finally became a loony woman.
5’4″, pale skin/hair. I want to start with a classic, ready for daily, luncheon, jobsite visits, out to dinner, and of course, into chicken coop. What brand, what color? Love plain, love classic. We’re stupid hot & humid during long horrid summers.

Dearest Contessa… this news, going on day ~16 w/o an episode is just the BEST news… I feel like holding my breath until you reach 1.5 months : ) A word I love, but do not (sadly) have cause to use very often is intrepid. YOU are the definition. The spur-of-the-moment photos are wonderful…and the answer to why did the chicken cross the road is –of course–to live happily ever after with the Contessa. Lucky, lucky Ruby!!!! (Rooting for Ruby to join the gang inside the casa–another blog I follow is a woman with a large flock/hen house and she lets a few of her girls roam/roost in the house… her hen house was the inspiration for the chapter ‘Cooped Up’ in Fantastic Tails : )
Now, I must segue to Flower… I am OVER THE MOON with the face cream and goat milk soaps, so is my daughter (she will be contacting Flower with some other questions soon). Even my husband wanted to try the soap and loves it : ) I am SO grateful to have been introduced to her and will share with others… she is a GEM!!
